Hi to Everyone,

Purchased a new to me '04 MCS in IB/W a couple of months ago. It was a one owner car with only 63,000 km, no accidents and completely stock. I've put on 4,000 km already and just love it.

I purchased it from the local Infiniti dealer (the dealership owner also has the local BMW and Mini dealerships) for a really good price I think. They had already changed the front rotors, pads and sensor before I purchased it. However I did find a coolant leak so it went back and they replaced the rad, thermostat and housing, system flush. I managed to get the full service history of the car and found that it was overdue for an oil change (only a few thousand km but 18 months!). I also had the brake fluid flushed at the same time.

The side window was replaced at some time (most likely a smash and grab) which needed adjustment (I've fixed), replaced the plastic b-pillar trim which was cracked and new crankcase dip stick.. Other than that, everything seems great, 40% left on rear brakes and all rubber bushings are still good. Tires (tyres) are almost new Bridgestone Potenzas.

I have started the modding, however and am really pleased with the results so far: Alta CAI, Ultrix 15% SC Pulley (with belt and colder NGK iridium plugs), M7 STB, Bimmian Beryllium Shift **** and e-brake handle, aux jack, glovebox organizer, etc. etc….

I would like to get the auto lock functions changed (one push on remote to open all doors and no auto lock while underway) and will have to get the dealer to do that. Does anyone know if the OBC can be enabled at the same time? I do have the button on the turn signal stalk but it only displays speed or temp.

Welcome! Sounds like a nice ride! You're close to lots of good driving roads over there. I've had lots of fun heading up the fraser canyon or up through Pemberton, etc. I'm not far, just over in Victoria.
