Ordered my 2012 copper last week. It went into production this week. Soo excited.

Few questions

1) ordered in ct, any idea where the distribution center is for New England? Any idea how often a shipment comes in?

2) The dealer claimed that for the 2012s the driving lights required a change to the computer settings and therefore claimed they could only be installed by them. What is the bull factor on that?

3) plan is to get a set of snow tires installed as soon as it show up.... Any one have any recommendations for snow tires?

Any other recommendations in preparing for my minis arrival?

Sounds like a great ride. Your MINI will come into the port of NY (NJ actually). Once you move out of production, you can check the ship that it's loaded on and track it across the "pond" if you're so inclined. Details here: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...d-updated.html

Mine is in production this week as well! Checked the WW website and it shows that there will be a ship leaving from SouthHampton to Port Hueneme on 1/18/12 and arriving 2/9/12. Wishful thinking here, but i hope mine gets on that ship. If not, Then the next departure from SouthHamptom would be 1/31/12 and an arrival date of 2/22/12. Of course I would rather be motoring much earlier with the top down. Keep me updated on yours! Congrats!

Congrats, wish I had your dealer. I ordered a Clubman S on 12/24 and as of last Tuesday (talking to representative on 1-866-ASK-MINI), it still wasn't in production. It was in the status of pre-production pack. I figure that maybe this coming Monday it will go into production. This will replace our dearly departed 2010 Clubman S.
