New to Minis, thanks for the forums!
Hello,
I recently traded in my truck ( 2008 Dodge RAM 1500 4X4) on a 2010 Mini Cooper S. I'm looking forward to learning the ins and outs of driving such a tremendously capable, sporty and luxurious ride. I've owned it for less than a month and it has ruined me for any other manual car. The transmission shifts perfectly, I am,(not quite) speechless on how wonderful of a car it is. and I have yet to drive the car to its handling limits. but on long drives it is comfortable and driven appropriately never fails to provide a sense of awe and a big smile.
I was looking for a smaller car to get better gas mileage, but I still wanted to have enough power to hold my own on the freeways - The mini was a top choice, but I was concerned that it would be too small for me, or if I bought one with all the features I wanted it would be out of my price range. I will admit, ni one besides a small dog will inhabit the back seat, but that is just fine by me, I actually had to raise the seat height.
Again thank you for this forum, I will no doubt call upon it's wisdom and guidance often.

I work at a smallish aviation concern out here, you may have heard of them

Speaking of... it's a beautiful day out today... the only minor issue I have with MCS is that the back end is a dust/dirt/roadgrime collector. I will be addressing that today after the gym. Elephant Carwash here I come!
BTW I joined the Alliance and decided to take advantage of the customer avatar feature - although my avatar met all listed requirements it was denied:
It is small in both dimension and data and poses little issue even to those who still attach via 28.8 modem.
