Welcome, I am new to the board!

Looking to buy my first MINI! Hopefully i'll have one by next week.

(Better get started learning how to drive a stick...)

Excellent! Keeps us posted on your purchase. I learned stick on my MINI within an hour or so, it's very easy on our cars!

Watch some videos on youtube, that helps a lot. It's all about getting the feel of the clutch and gas.

Find a large EMPTY parking lot and practice starting/stopping over and over again. I agree, after an hour or so you'll think you've been driving a stick your entire driving life. The sooner you get your mini, the happier you're going to be! Good luck with the search.

Welcome, I also seen in your post you were looking at standards....mini's. Well the good news is you steer an auto and drive a standard. HEHE...What kind of Mini, colors, etc....
