Just Purchased My First Mini Cooper

Picked up a 2011 Mini Cooper Hardtop
Basic

Engine: 1.6L I4 DOHC 16V


Loving the feel, fuel economy, and size!

Seriously gave me a new boost of motivation for working harder,etc. ( I know random)

Will get getting tint added, checkered rear view mirrors, and the bonnet stripes this week. Got them to add that in

Congratulations. The MINI is a great car for the Northwest. It will become second nature soon to run your finger under the gutter before you get into your car..... especially today.

Hah today is absolutely horrible. I noticed I can't make any mods though because it would void my warranty :/

You can install a low resistance K&N air filter. I put mine in the day I got my car and the dealer never said a thing about it. Plus it's nice to go easy on the environment by not throwing out one every two years.

Hm okay. I'll check into that.

@beasleyboy, are you under a no-cost maintenance warranty? How good is it? In the past on smaller items I've found it difficult to get warranty servicing done, as companies would find loop holes to charge me.

Mini good about warranties? I know BMW is
