Hey everyone of the mini cooper world. My name is Roy, and I am a fourth year mechanical engineering student at Cal Poly Pomona. A couple weeks ago my pride and joy was stolen from campus (in the parking structure). Here's a picture of it a couple days before the incident.


It was found the next week completely stripped in the middle of LA. Please refrain your comments about how I should have had a kill switch (I had one) or how easy Hondas are to steal. Trust me, I know. Anyways, I think its time to start a new chapter in my life and the next car I plan on getting is a r53 MCS! I've been lurking on the forum for a while now but have never posted due to the fact that i actually don't own a mini... Yet. I know exactly what I want and I've been scouring the internet looking for the perfect mini. So far I have only found one that has fit the description.. but he had already sold it when I contacted him. Im looking for a 2003-2005 MCS in British racing green or Black. When I finally find one and purchase it ill definitely post a build thread on nam but for now I am just a lonely student bumbing rides to school.

Ya... the dealership lied on a couple things. They didn't put new tires on it like they said, and it didn't have keyless entry. The wheels had some pretty bad curb rash on them and the trunk had a dent that was poorly repaired. When i drove it the transmission felt sloppy and the interior had seen better days. I was disappointed to say the least... Ill keep searching and hopefully some more will pop up.
