A friend of mine got me a gift to say thank you for a favor I did for him. So today, as I was driving by his house he popped out and we were chatting. He said, "Oh Oh, I have something for you, a thank you gift"

He comes out with a "Mini Garage Keychain" and a set of Union Jack Valve covers.

He said, hope your new car gets here soon! My friends get me!

 

That's really cool. My wife's friend, who is a great guy, took the time to take me out to learn stick with his 6 month old Hardtop. I was going to Do something similar with those caps and/or license plate frames to say thank you.

Good to have friends like that. I had a similar thing happen. I have been helping a friend from my Street Rodding crowd put together his '59 Corvette Gasser ( I have a '36 Chevy Coupe). He left me a message a few weeks ago that he wanted to come over to give me something. He had gone to a cruise-in with his Gasser and won a door prize and felt that it was more appropriate for me to have it.



Perfect for someone with a Liquid Yellow / Black MCS, even has the sun roof. Cool!
