Bought my Cool Blue R52 used with 46K on it when gas was $4/gal and I was driving my V10 F-250 as a daily driver (12.5 mpg). Was really looking for a VW diesel convertible when I stumbled across this one in the local area. Love the MINI, get 36.5 mpg avg but it's darn expensive to maintain ($4.8k at the dealer in the last 2 months).

I have been browsing several of the MINI forums for a while and finally decided to join here since it seems to be mostly U.S. owners. Just looking for general information, occasional how to and perhaps some chat.
