My Mini is coming soon!
Just purchased a 2008 Mini Cooper S! I pick it up next week in Cleveland. Can't wait!
So many questions - where to buy an armrest? Will the bluetooth work? Should I get stripes? Can I drive 85 without getting a ticket?

You should check here on NAM for an armrest, even ebay has some good deals. There's always minimania.com and outmotoring.com too. Do a google search and see what you can find.
Shouldn't have trouble with the bluetooth--mine works even though the sound quality on the other end is crap... Whoevers calling me always has trouble hearing me unless I'm at a standstill with all the windows/sunroof closed.
Stripes are awesome! It lets you customize your MINI and if you got tired of the same look, they can be easily changed. You could do rally or bonnet stripes, one off center stripe, add black pinstripes on either side, ect... So many options!
Good luck with not getting a ticket! Just keep your eyes peeled for cops and know the trap spots
