oem tools?? help!!

cant find where to get an oem clutch alignment tool and a engine brace bracket. i believe ive looked on every website that exists and even called the dealer and they wanted part #s lol go figure. as i know these tools exist ive not given up the quest. i have an R53 with 15% pulley, msd ignition, fresh air intake, oil catch can, performance rad.overflow tank,400cc high flow fuel injectors, and a stage 2 clutchmaster fx300 clutch and pressure plate w/ 11lb aluminium flywheel also lowered 3'' w/17'' flik rims. now to the reason i need these tools clutch went to crap after 2000miles of common driving not aggressive. made noise when installed and mechanic said it was common. also have antifreeze in oil hoping the head gasket not the head. all help is greatly appreciated .

Part numbers

Hi, I'm also new here but I think I can help. The updated MINI part# for the R53 alignment tool is 90 88 0212 210. I don't have the latest number for the 'L' shaped support bracket but if you give them the number off the tool (11 8 370) they'll order it for you.

for my R50 transmission rebuild I left the motor in, mainly because my garage is the size of a postage stamp (it was built to house a model-T)
Search for a thread by NAM member KHuevo on installing a Quaife LSD. It has some invaluable info.

I haven't had any luck finding 11 8 260 yet (the angled support bracket), but I DID find the clutch centering tools. Pelican and minimania both sell them. Not cheap, but....

Pelican also has a $7 version from clutch masters that they dont picture and I can't find any data on - anyone have any experience with these? If it's what CM pictures with their clutches it's probably not worth buying, since it expects there to be a pilot bearing in the crank... - http://www.clutchmasters.com/shop/?p...144&AppID=1995

tools here:

Would love it if someone finds somewhere to order the support bracket!
