I just learned that they stopped production on the 2011 Countryman All4 we ordered last week. We can still get an '11 without the nav/connect or wait for '12. That means an extra few months with no new mini. Anyone know what changes are in store for '12? Do prices usually go up? Thanks!

 

Appears that way sometimes as packages can change.

For some of the MINI's, I heard the dual pane sunroof is no longer part of the Premium Package becoming a stand alone option for 2012....In lieu of that, they are adding the alarm system instead. Welcomed news for those who receive lower insurance rates for factory alarms.

 

I have a copy of the new lists for 2012. There have been major changes in the packages. The premium package does not include the sunroof or the HK system, Those are separate items. The technology package includes connect . center arm rest, hk and park distance control. The other options for 2012 are rear bench seat and black headlight housings.

 

Thanks - could you please share with us what the premium package does include? Do you have prices for the package or for the sunroof & HK if purchases a la carte?

Alarm System
Comfort access Keyless Entry
Chrome Line Interior
Auto Dimming Rearview Mirror
Rain Sensor and Auto Headlights and last but not least
Automatic Climate Control.

I have no idea as to prices. This is all a move to increase the profits onTh each MINI. From the premium package I only want the Auto Climate control. Only one item from the original premium package remains.
The HK system was moved from the Premium Package to the Technology Package, I could just imagine the cost of that ($4000?????)

 

Could you please tell us what else is included in the technology package? Is the sunroof now available only as a stand-alone option? It seems like the new line-up may actually reduce my price as the packages don't include the few options I care about. Thanks again!

This adds about 500 to my price as I want sunroof, HK and auto climate control. Tech package is of no interest to me nor is the premium package. The $500 is over and about the reported 5% price increase on the MINI w/o options.

If people can't parallel park without a robot to help them they shouldn't drive a mini. Period.
