Indefinite production hold
Hey guys...I've been lurking here for some time. I ordered a 2011 MCS w/ Connected/Nav on 5/02. After many calls to ASK MINI and time spent on the OL I decided to call my MA today. I was informed my production date was indefinitely suspended to due Connected/Nav electronic component shortages. UUUUGHH!!!

Hmm.. given that this news hit about 10+ days ago, why didn't he call you with that news? 
Sorry to hear -- hopefully they will get this straightened out soon. Saw a documentary on the Japan earthquake on Discovery tonight - what a mess that was (and is!).

I was also wondering why my MA hadn't called. Perhaps she didn't know? At any rate it looks as if I'm in for a long wait.
I saw that documentary as well...astonishing video! Sad and scary situation.
