I read that the Keyfob holds user data unique to each FOB unit. My question is Key (A) holds the 3 blink turn signal programing but my key (B) looses it after reprogramming and car has been off for a few minutes. Is this just the FOB battery? Will buy new battery and try anyway.

 

When my battery in the fob started to die it would flash a battery symbol in the information screen on the tach.

 

I have Comfort Access so it may be different but I must unlock the car with the FOB I am going to use to drive with. If not it keeps the settings of the last fob used.
Also the changeover does not work If the engine is running so to change over you have to turn off the engine, hit the FOB unlock button, then restart the engine. I've done that a few times at a stoplight just to get my radio settings back.
