Hi everyone. Just joined last night while doing some research to buy my 1st Mini. I'm 28 and an avid auto x and TA fan/ participant. Currently my fun car is a '00 Civic hatch with a swap and some suspention mods. Getting a little boring and there are way too many around here. While there is a tonne of Mini's around here I've only seen one JCW and one modded example.
I'm still unsure if I will be buying a SC or turbo cooper S. I'm a bit torn as I like the SC for auto x but I'm told it is only SOHC while the newer car is DOHC which is my preference for whatever reason. Hopefully someone can compare and contrast the 2 generations for me.
The car will be modded for autox and slalom.
