First MINI for me!

Hi All,

My name is Glenn and I come to the MINI world through strange circumstances. I've worked in the motorcycle industry for most of my 30+ year career, mostly with Harleys though a big MotoGP fan. Very familiar with Laguna and Sears Point (Will always be Sears Point to me...) as well as seeing MotoGP races in Barcelona a couple of times.

Also owned a few faster motorcycles, one Honda RC51 and a Ducati S4R

Been looking for a "company" car for the last few months and, after a really bad week, my business partner said to "Just go buy it".

Was considering a variety of cars...

So on April 27, I found my MINI and bought it. SO HAPPY!!! 1677 miles in 13 days happy...

Unlike many of you, I bought my Countryman S All4 right off the dealer's floor. I was lucky; for whatever reason, it wasn't presold. Cosmic Blue, Black Roof and Black wheels, Automatic - paddle shift is so cool! Premium and Cold Weather pkgs, adaptive Xenon lights, Mini Connected, rain sensor and auto headlights and armrest.

Looking forward to seeing how it works on some twisties... Maybe lunch at Alice's Restaurant real soon.

Congrats and welcome! Wow, that is a nice looking Countryman. I love that color and the black wheels give it a nice sporty look. I hear the transition to all wheel is pretty seamless and some say feels "strange", in a good way. Have you tested it off road yet?

Thanks! haven't tested off road yet though have thought of driving up to Tahoe to test it. Still have snow up there.

I tinted it and installed a shorty antenna. And installed a Proline Styling Race Skin on the windshield - I hate rock chips!
