Hello Hello All, My name is Kait. And like my title says, I bought my first mini cooper. She is a black and white beauty, but maybe I'm just biased! 2002 Mini cooper, first gen, and she is still peppy as can be! 5 Speed Manual, she's defiantly a change from the 1998 Jetta I had before I got her. My boyfriend anthony, happens to have a 2009 mini club-man, so we got the two cars sitting in our driveway. Pretty sure the neighbor's think we're crazy, Can't help but get stuck on a great brand though! Interior is about a 9/10, utterly perfect, no rips in the leather, not a single stain! which is incredible for a 2002! And exterior is gorgeous as well. I saw her on an online ad at a local dealership and drove on down to rescue her! So far me and the boyfriend have installed a new radio with blue-tooth so that I can follow the law and be "hands free". :D Plans so far are to lower her, possibly a new intake and touch up the paint. Im thinking the same paint scheme, but adding a pearl to the roof, which we will match on the interior pieces. and I guess I can show you pictures now! Let me know what you think, words of encouragement are always welcome! I've worked on plenty of cars before ( 1993 240 SX Convertible, 1971 Datsun 510, 1969 VW Bug and my 1998 Jetta ), but this is a first for me when it comes to newer cars, and not only newer but Mini's! Cross your finger's for me! Nice and shiny! Me and the Boyfriend's Mini's. Luigi and Daisy! It was love at first sight!!

Great looking R50, love the while wheels/roof! I'd put some white bonnet stripes on there if it were up to me!

Just put a new intake on mine a few days ago and I LOVE it, great improvement in performance and sound. I went with an aFe intake from VAC motorsports, great service and product.
