I just purchased on Friday an '03 JCW as a 25th Anniversary (today!) present for my wife. This is kind of like buying your mom a baseball bat for Chrismas - except she's a good hitter. My wife loves to drive, even more so now.
We live in Portland, OR. Since buying this well-cared-for 46k mi beauty from our BMW/MINI mechanic's dad, I'm the guy with the goofy grin plastered all over my face and my wife, Betty, is the one with hair and the goofy grin.
The 2nd time uploading photos worked like a charm.

BTW, Looking through our old files yesterday, we found a very complete collection of the early MINI "Let's Motor" ads & brochures. They are hysterical (stick-on bogies for when you vanquish a Viper, a custom barf bag for the back seat passengers, etc). I'll have to check on the forum to see if they are posted. If not, I'll post them myself. Lots o' laffs!
