Hello MINI

Wife and I traded in our 03 Dodge Ram 2500HD Diesel for a 2006 Cooper S. Yeah, I know, it's a big change. It was my toy hauler for my other hobby (highly built Wrangler LJ rockcrawler) but we were not towing much and it didn't make sense to have two vehicles with terrible gas mileage.

We wanted something small but fun and were shopping the 350Z, Miata, Solstice and GTI in addition to the Cooper S. The MCS won hands down the first second we drove it.

These little things couldn't be more fun. I'm a gear head so I'm sure I'll have some questions to ask once I go through all the stickies and wear out the search feature. The forum has already helped me source out one problem by figuring out how to get Aux input in . . . just ordered the part from Out Motoring.

Speaking of which, when it comes time to get parts, and it will cause I can't leave well enough alone, who are the best parts suppliers around? I can name off almost every major and small garage fabricator for Jeeps but don't have a clue where to start looking for the MCS.

Thanks, and looking forward to seeing what this little machine can do.

Congrats on the new toy. I traded in my 05 ram quadcab for the mini. you will have a lot of fun with this little car and the 06's are probably the best least troublesome year to have. Enjoy!
