My girlfriend just bought this Mini about 6 months ago. I'm the boyfriend and I've been lurking this website for so long now that it's come time to say hi as I have my own problems with this mini that's given me headaches.


Anyhow this is what the car looks like. It's a lot of fun. Has the normal exhaust, supercharger 15% pulley, intake, etc. 2002 S

 

Looks like a well cared for car, especially considering it's 9 years old.

Is it just the light or is that air cleaner filthy. If it's clean, please accept my apology.

 

No it's filthy. I need to clean it. It's on my list of to do's. The car is overheating and the a/c doesn't want to work right. Replaced the screaming idler pulley when the car decided to throw the belt apart and rip it to shreds. Now that's been taken care of I'm working on little things.

The a/c charge is too high. I'll have to take it to a mechanic and have them take some out... that might explain why the a/c works great at high speeds (like highway) and doesn't work in stop and go traffic or around town speeds with traffic lights.
