My daughter has a 2006 mini I was wanting to drive it while she is in Iraq when I went to pick it up the battery was dead. I ended up replaing battery and drove for about a week Now the headlights that come on when you turn the car on will not go off. I know there is a time relay that shuts them off auto, but this is not working I had to disconnect the battery is there some Mini secert here or what. I want to get the car fixed so it will work when she gets home? HELP

 

I had the same problem... Wound up having to replace the light switch on the stalk of the steering column...
