I am so excited, I am picking up a brand new Cooper S Clubman tomorrow. I have never owned a MINI and am wondering if I need any info from you all for pick up time. Any heads ups or dont leave the dealership withouts. Here is the picture the salesman sent me. I have not seen it in person yet. I hope the space between the tire and fender is such, because it is on a lift.

I'd offer MINI dealer delivery tips, but I've never had that experience myself. My guess from buying other new cars is that you'll receive a lot of information, including enough about the car's operation that you can make it home okay. Don't be shy about asking questions. They'll probably be very nice and might give you some extra goodies. You'll probably also be offered opportunities to purchase additional warranties and/or services just before you leave. That seems to be the general template for new car delivery.

Yeah, I think the suspension's sagging because it's on the lift.

Jim, I appreciate the comment. I am a little bummed because they pushed back delivery untill tomorrow. I'm like a kid on Christmas!

 

Make sure the MA goes over ALL the controls with you (Mine spent a hour) Controls on a Mini are a bit different than most cars. Of course go over the car for flaws and inperfections and make sure you get all manuals and other little goodies that are suposed to come with car (i.e. two sets of keys)

Oh, Awsome color. Great looking car. I got mine November 17 and its been PERFECT, still has yet to go back to dealer.
