Just bought my first MINI yesterday! One test drive and I was hooked.
I have also discovered all of the accessories available and was wondering what other drivers consider to be the most important ones?
Also, my S coupe needs a name. She's silver with black bonnet stripes. Any suggestions?

Congratulations 'n welcome t' NAM! I agree wit' Ben about th' name. Drive it a bit 'n th' name will come. Wha' year be yer wee MINI? That would help wit' th' recommendations. Oh, we be love'n pictures!

Welcome! I think we can all relate to the results of the test drive 
. Especially with the S! A name will come to you soon enough, I like non name-names if that makes sense. Something unique! I was going to name mine "FINI' the MINI cause in French, "Fini" means "finished" so the joke was that my MINI would never be finished in terms of modding and what not. I thought it was clever!

My MINI is a 2007 S coupe. Did I state that correctly? I'm still getting familiar with the terminology. 
She's (and I did figure out that it is a she straight away) silver with black bonnet stripes. Her roof is black with a sunroof. She's absolutely adorable, but I may be a wee bit partial.
Thanks for the advice on driving her a bit first. Perhaps a name will then be obvious.
I'll post pics later as I'm at work and don't have access to them from here.

I also drank the Koolaid and had a lot of trouble deciding on options - I knew that in michigan heated seats were a must. And for my driving pleasure the manual transmission. I plan on driving my mini year around and so got the all 4 countryman. It is black with red stripes and red mirror caps. Hope to see you at some Michigan events- I also had a hard time naming my cooper- but his name is BlackJack ( mine is Jill) and I cannot think of anyone I would rather go up and around hills with
