Just want to introduce myself. I recently bought a 2008 Clubman. This is the second mini I have owned. I owned a 1965 Austin Mini. I don't really remember much about it I'm afraid....I was just a punk kid at the time.
I bought my current mini as a daily driver. I will also use it to transport a small drum kit around to casual gigs I play. I am really enjoy this car and can see I will have it a while.

My first question is this....
the rear view mirror vibrates and the base is pretty loose. I want to know how to tighten it up. I have experiance in restorations and I am not afraid to do this myself. I have a restored 1971 SS El Camino.
I did remove the plastic covers and saw that there is no obvious bolts or screws to tighten up the mirror.
Can someone please advise me on this.
