First Mini in the family, and I like!
Hello everyone, proud new owner of an 06 MCS
I'm 27 and have had a pretty diverse collection of cars over the years but never drove a Mini.
Some back history
My first car..Porsche 944 1985.5(late). Bought it for 2 grand when I was 16 and in love lol, Untill the timing let go.

2nd car..88 CRX. Durring 2000 I drove a co-workers 99 Civic Si and was in love with the motor. Bought a CRX and put the same Civic Si motor in that. Then I made it too nice for daily driving. I still have it but it dosent see many miles.

Few years later I bought a 05 WRX for daily use.

and how she is right now.

And a 05 Legacy GT Wagon...(spun a bearing 4 days after purchase) Put in a new STi short block. Gatta say tho, its a fun wagon too.

And finally the 06 MCS.

With gas around 3.50 here I wanted something that can get better than 18-20 MPG.
Found this puppy, 52k miles. Not a single dent, ripple, wave in any of the sheet metal. First thing I noticed was the supercharger. As you can see I have a thing for forced induction lol.
One thing I wasnt expecting is how you dont feel like your in a small car, well untill you look behind and the rear is an arms length away lol.
After picking it up at the dealer last night. I went out to go put some gas in it and got detoured an hour, I just wanted to keep driving lol. Car is a blast to drive and look forward to learning more about the car.

I've always had a soft spot for the CRX Si. I wanted one so badly as my first car, but my father vetoed it because it wasn't an American car.
Don't get me started...
ANYWAY! Congrats to you!
