Noob post. 1st Mini thanksgiving 2010
Hey all y'allz.
So I've been a Mini fan (vintage and new) since I was 11 (1983) when I saw the Italian Job on TV.
Somehow I never had one of the classic Minis even though I've owned 51 various vintage cars/projects.
This year at Thanksgiving my 1973 BMW Bavaria sprang a leak at the windshield and proceeded to make me miserable. SO I ran out and bought a used 2006 Checkmate.
I'll be looking for general maintenance and parts info. Maybe some club type drives in SoCal or Portland, OR and general chatting with other excited Mini owners.
