I have a 2003 Mini S that overheated and has coolant in oil. stopped using right away. took head gasket off and no sign of coolant in cylinders.
No real sign of blown head gasket. Car would still start and run smooth...didn't run but a few seconds.
Anyone have an idea of where else the coolant could get into the oil? Garage just told me I need a new engine without really looking at it. They may be right but I had to see for myself.

I'm sure someone here will chime in to help you. Good luck getting that diagnosed and repaired.

In the meantime, I'd like to say...

Sounds like trouble to me, maybe a cracked block?? Who knows, you need to find someone who will take a serious look at it.
