Hello from IL

Hey everyone! My name is Jack and I drive a 2009 Lightning Blue Mini Cooper Clubman. When my family bought it in April of 09 I still had my driving permit so I had to patiently wait till my 16th birthday last July to get the keys and it was worth the wait! I love driving it and the car is awesome. I really think that Minis are some of the coolest looking cars on the road today. I thought this forum looked pretty cool and informative and full of other Mini fans so I thought I'd give it a try!

Welcome to the forum! You're lucky to have the family offer you such a cool car as a first ride. All my parents would let me drive was a 7-year old, 1976 Chevy Nova hatchback.

Treat your Mini well (I beat the everlovin' snot out of that damn Nova).

thanks for the warm welcome everyone! Yeah I know I'm pretty lucky that my parents let me drive such a cool car and I'm very grateful for it. and don't worry I've always been taught from a young age to respect and take good care of cars. I try to wash my Clubman at least once a week and also clean the inside. I'll try to post some pics of it later this week.

That's a pretty neat ride for a high schooler! Your parents trust you big time, and you are obviously mature enough to enjoy such a fine automobile. Thanks for posting and welcome to the forum for MINIacs.
