Hi all,

I just joined to help with a search for a 2009 or newer JCW MINI Cooper (not clubman, not convertible).

I came close to buying one new and another used at the beginning of the year, but the sellers really put me off. So much that I had a bad taste for MINI!

Anyway, I lost my job, so it was a good thing I didn't buy then. I found a new job, relocated, and am getting settled in. And the MINI service around here is much better than where I was - so I'm back in the market.

My current daily driver is a Porsche 997S and we have a few other cars lying around, but never enough! Several friends drive MINIs and I've always liked the "classic" Mini as well, but never owned one.

If you're looking for a MINI here, your first stop should be the Marketplace forum... folks who are selling their MINIs or parts for MINIs place ads there, so you can see if there's something there to your liking. Good luck with your search.

Good time to buy a used '09 JCW. Their resale value is evidently dropping like a rock, mine included.
