I build hot rods and trade on cars all the time and recently picked up a 2002 Mini (non-S) at a real good deal. The Mini was in mint condition and I figured I would flip it and make a few dollars on it but after driving it to work for a week I'm hooked...it has made driving to work a thrill again.

So at this point I'm now looking for a "S" mode l

 

Congratulations! You've been bitten by the MINI bug. I too had some old muscle cars and would never buy anything that didn't have a V8...and then the MINI came to the USA....I drove one and was hooked! I'm on my 3rd and love my S. Good luck!!!

 

If you live near the smokies = you have to drive your Cooper on the Tail of the Dragon = wow a huge blast = twistie roads ! Took it on this summer on a trip to the smokies and most of the dragon was closed because of a rock slide = but what was open . Hold on and have fun = You Cooper will let you feel 16 again !

Yea, the Dragon will be fun in a Mini...I've rode it many times on a bike.
