Hopefully a new owner in 12 hrs

So I've been lurking around for a little bit trying to gather some research and figuring whether or not the car is for me. Finally I found a used private party Mini that fit almost all my specifications that I wanted including sport, premium, comfort?, piano black dash. It's a 09 with 16k miles on it and I'm hoping that tomorrow when I go to check it out I can drive it home!
I was wondering if there are any particular things you guys might recommend that I check out and make sure runs smoothly? Hopefully come tomorrow I'll be already looking for some little pieces to differentiate my Mini from the rest.
Thanks,
Bennyboy

Good Luck Bennyboy! I would look for the same things you would in any car...clean carfax report, service/repair records, differences in paint/panel fit & finish, condition of the interior/exterior/engine bay. Hope it's all you've dreamed about. Keep us posted...

Late update kinda, but yesterday I went and picked up the Mini and it was in stellar condition. Only thing is it had a minor scratch on the rear bumper from what looks like taking something heavy out of the trunk and the use of oily chemicals on the interior.

Otherwise its super and its been fun. I have been told by a number of people that I'm too big for the car at 6 feet tall, but I love it and feel perfectly comfortable.

I'm looking into some mods in the future and wonder what do you guys recommend? I've been looking into an exhaust for now, I'm trying to keep the dealer happy when I go in for service.

Lastly, I'll have to wash the car and get pics up this weekend.

Thanks again guys!

Congrats! Hopefully it treats you well!

As far as mods, go take a look at the mods forum here at NAM for lots of great ideas on what's what.

Get some pics up so we can see!
