Hello

Wow...just checked my join date and it was July 2008, and this is my very first post!

But I figure I might as well get say Hi now cause I'm really considering buying a Mini and might have questions sometime.

I was really looking to get JCW, but with the info out about changes to the MCS and only cosmetic changes to the JCW, I'm leaning toward just getting a 2011 MCS instead of a JCW.

But I'm patient. So I'll wait till the '11s are really out just to see how the changes for the MCS really are, and/or if BMW/Mini changes their mind and does somethign more to the JCW.

Welcome, I'm new too! I bought an "S" two weeks ago. I am by nature frugal(cheap bastard). I bought an "S" 'cause I figured that I can hotrod it up with aftermarket parts cheaper and better than factory suff.

There is a lot of information on this forum to help me reach this goal.

You could always save some cash and just get the JCW tune.

Glad you decided to post!

You're not cheap...you're just picky about where the dollars go.

I'm one of those guys that are afraid of messing with the car while its under warranty, so I kinda wanted to get a JCW since it's a factory modded MCS, and then just leave it as is. But we'll see....
