hello mini owners i'm NEW to the MINI FAMILY hope everybody had a GOOD EASTER Holiday with family My first question is where can i get service manual for a 2008 M-Cooper-s i'm a kind of a hands on mechanic on american made cars so a manual would help me out a lot haven't been able to find anything dealing with the mechanics on the i guess 2nd generation minis i hope i'm not wrong on this since i now own a 2008 m-cooper-s THANKS for your help in ADVANCE

Bentley doesn't do the 2nd gen? I've their manual for the 1st gen which is quite good.

I even called the Bentley folks -- nope, no plans to do a second gen manual. I think they are competing with BMW who seem to be developing a DVD manual. But if its like the one for my motorcycle, it will cost %40 and all it will tell you is that you need factory tools and computers to do anything.

I'd buy a Bentley manual in a heartbeat.
