Hello from Western New York
Hello from Western New York
Although I'm new to NAM, I'm a fairly seasoned MINI owner/fanatic. Just sold my first MINI (06 MC PH/S, Silver Stripes, Cold Weather, Premium, DSC, HK, Euro shelf, arm rest, plus every chrome doo-dad I could find) and bought a new 09 off the dealer's lot. Let me introduce you to ...
BLAKESTER, 09 MCS CR/B, Black Stripes, Cold Weather, Premium, Leather Punch Carbon Black, Anthracite headliner, Xenon, Bluetooth/USB, 16" black alloy wheels (photos coming soon)
I'm looking forward to participating and getting some customizing tips ... looking through the forums, it seems there's a LOT of expertise, plus the willingness to share it. My current plans are a blackout project (opposite of my first MINI) and probably a sound system upgrade ... Blakester's stock stereo makes me mourn the loss of the HK system.
Peace,
Mike

I live in western ny I got the 05 s that is completely blacked out except for the rims. We are working on getting my brothers car all blacked out. What I have been learning is the black vinyle is working out great on his 09 s and it is time consuming but looks great. On mine I did the molded plastic piece which for the money the door handles and gas cap are worth it but the headlight and tail light rings are easy to rap and the best part it all comes off. I can give you the number to the lady who will sell the vinyle if you need it. See ya around, whatch out for us on the highway and I am usally at shred and ragins lancaster race way thing in the circle.
Thanks for the nice greeting.
As promised, here are some photos of Blakester and his little buddy, Blakester II.

... along with the obligatory interior shot:

Peace,
Mike
