Hey everyone!

I just bought a hyper blue 2005 mini cooper s. this is my 3rd day with it and I love it. I'm looking to do little things to it, like yesterday I painted the brake calipers red. I'm not looking to spend too much money right now. Does anybody have any inexpensive things that I can do to it to make it look better or make it run better? I'll post pics of it soon.

Thanks,
Derek

Well I'm not sure red brake caliper will do much for speed but they do look keen, and I'm not sure my viper stripes added to my power but they didnt cost more than $45, the new Falken Azenis RT-615 205's have significantly improved cornering but cost was $440 OTD. There are a lot of things you could do but any real improvements power wise are not going to be cheap. Why not just enjoy the rascal for a while?

For me too. I went from a 1996 Honda Civic EX (which was stolen and stripped for parts - RIP 1/13/10) to a 2010 MCS. Am LOVING it!

i think the best bang for the buck mod is the pulley. u can get them 80-100$ and get it done in an afternoon of work.

for cheap mods check out the cheapskate mod thread. there are a lot of ideas for free and cheap projects there.
