Diy Info

Greeting to all. I am in washington state and have just discovered how the mini dealer does not tell all. Bought a mini in 2006, thought i had a 5 yr warrenty found out it is only for 4 and only for 3 on maintenance. My fault for not reading everything. Also found out that a yearly oil change should be done no matter how many miles on car. That said i am now wanting to do my own maintenance. Have found maintenance manuals available on the internet in both cd and paper back format. Has anyone else used these rerpair media and to what success? Your response will be used to decide my purchase.
Thank you for your input.

The Bentley manual is quite good. Should have everything you need. However, this site is just as good, and free - you just have to look around a little!
