I've lurked off and on over the past 6 months. I bought a 2009 Chili Red Cooper S Convertible in August. Love the gas mileage and having the top down, the power I get when entering an on-ramp, the stereo, the mood lighting when it's really dark. Dislike the rattles and keep bringing it back in for little anti-rattle adjustments.

Well rattles aside, you have found that they maybe annoying but the driving fun makes them bearable. So keep on driving and turn the radio up another notch and there is a good chance you won't hear them.

Welcome

You will have a little rattling. I've never had a convertible that didn't. Mine is lowered with coilovers and is not that bad.
