Hi everyone.
The wife is a proud owner of a 2003 MINI S. We seem to be having multiple problems with this car.
1. Front wiper quit. Had to install a new ground wire to get it working.
2. Glove box handle broke. Took glove box apart and reglued handle. Had to separate box and reglue it as well.
3. Driver door interior handle not working. Cable is stretched. Ordered a new cable but haven't figured out how to reattach it without removing window and I didn't want to go that far.
4. Front tires wearing on the outside? What's causing that? What's a good tire that will help smooth the ride?
5. Where is the best place to buy parts for these?

Sorry to hear about your problems, hope you are able to solve most of them without too much trouble. As far as the tire wear, sounds like an alignment problem, as to parts there is always the dealer, a dealer that discounts 15% is Morristown Mini, there are a lot of vendors here on the forum, and this sites Marketplace for sales by owners. Good luck!

Hi , i am also new to the fourm and a owner of a 05 cooper s, i've seen the glove box problems and typically its easier just to replace the whole glove box. But for the bowden in the drivers door, its very easy if you can take that door panel off and put the window all the way up, you can do it without removing the window.

As for the tires it sounds like under inflation maybe?? i'd set the tires at 35psi, or it could be the alignment as well, i have seen the front lower control amr bushings to tear causing numerous of alignment issues and tire wear.
