Hello everyone this my first posting my name is Shaun and i am the proud owner of an INDI BLUE White roofed and white striped 2002 MINI, i purchased my little babay in '07 used and i wish i hadn;t waited so long to motor! My partner also has a '02 as well he was jealous of mine (HAHA). I have been looking for to get into a motoring club on LONG ISLAND for awhile and have been pretty unsuccessful so i'm hoping to get involved with one. I am looking forward getting to know my fellow motoring fanatics.

my second mini
I'm new to NAM but the forums seem to be great. I bought my first mini just a few months ago. Purple Haze (Jimmy Hendricks would be proud). It's a 2006 MCS with a few extras. Racing brakes, Recaro racing seats, aftermarket exhaust, tires, wheels. etc. I loved it and love to drive it. So about 4 days ago I bought a 2005 MCS with even more, Palo Uber forged 18 in wheels, carbon fiber spoiler and hood scoop, special exhaust, lots of stuff under the hood (or should I say bonnet?). I have yet to find out just what all is under there. I'm waiting for a file from the original owner. It also has 3 point harnesses and a tow ring that I was told was to tow you off a race track if you have a problem. I guess I would have to describe it as a street legal race car. It is Chili Red with a checker top that just covers the moon roof. It's very sharp and very fast. I'm a proud owner. Now that I have two mini's I feel obligated to join a club and of course NAM. Oh yes the special paint job includes Super Cooper on the side panels. I'll post some links to some pics soon. Hoping to hear from some of you. Mrjudi
