Hi, I've been surfing this thread/forum for a couple months and decided it's time to finally post something haha. I'm Heather, 18, live in milpitas,ca and go to school in SF. I have a black '05 cooper. So far I got a k&n intake, and PIAA fog lamps, about to install new H&R sport springs and projectors I mountain run with my cooper, and can't wait to meet other minis to come with me and my friends

I hear HID install is a PITA. Are you getting oem HID or aftermarket HID? I went with Phillips 85w bulbs, got some 100w Hella bulbs in queue. Works well in the Santa Cruz Mountains.

I went to one today at Harvey West Park in Santa Cruz, not much MINIs, but mostly VWs over 60 cars. Cardinale VW brought 2010 GTI for folks to beat in exchange for name and your phone number, and a TDI Cup racer. Locally, they revolve around the UFO schedule. Don't think there is one now until after holidays remind sometime in January for the next one. BBS... u got a good taste

Almost everyone had hood up, I was embarrassed cause mine was dirty.
