Possible Oil Leak on my 2004 Mini S

hello all, we hope someone might be able to help. We have a 2004 Mini Cooper S and love it. We had an oil change about 6 weeks ago and just recently noticed small drops of oil on the cement. We have had the Mini into the garage twice, but the mechanic has not found any leaks. The first time, he tightened the oil filter and noticed there was a lot of oil on the undercarriage of the car and did his best to clean it. Then two days later, we found some additional oil drops on the cement. Went back to the mechanic, but after having the Mini on the lift and checking it out for a few hours, he could not find any leaks and no oil had dripped during this whole time. He showed us all the oil underneath the front RH passenger side of the car, and showed us that nothing was leaking. Now it's been one more day, and again we found some oil spots on the cement. Does anyone have any idea what it might be. Our mechanic thought it might have been from the oil change/loose filter; but four days after him tightening the filter, we still have small spots of oil on the cement after it has been sitting for a while. We will watch it for a few more days, and if we still see oil spots on the cement, then it's back to the mechanic. Thanks.

The belt tensioner is hydraulic. Give the belt tensioner area a good look and see if the leak is coming from there. Could be the tensioner is failing.

Replace the gasket on the housing of the oil filter top. I too had that problem two weeks after an oil change. The gasket was torn---
