HELP!!!!

I live in the Omaha-Council Bluffs area. I have had my Mini since 2004. I would love to keep it forvever or may be trade in for a convertible Mini....

I am new to this site... I am lost. I need to find someone else who is reliable and reasonable to help me fix my Mini. Markel is just way to expensive. I like to keep my Mini healthy, but hellooo... it's outrageous if I use Markel.

this what I need --- fluids flushed, oil casket repaired, and new tires. Can any one help?

I live in CB and just went thru the Markel $865. oil change. It seems that the oil pan gasket was leaking which I had noticed when crawling under it a week or 2 earlier so I figured I would have to get it replaced. When the SA called me I was busy and he quoted me $600 something for the gasket which I OKed but told him I would find tires somewhere else cheaper than the $800 they wanted. Once I came to my senses I called him back about the pan gasket and he confirmed the $600 something but when he mentioned having to lift the engine to replace it I wnet with his plan. Out the door with oil change, pan gasket and $8.61 for washer fluid top off the bill was $865. I have since learned enough about the oil change thing that I have acquired the tools necessary to do it myself next time. I found tires for less than $400 at Firestone for Bridgestones that work very well. Lesson learned. If you have questions feel free to PM me.

Thank you for the reply. Seriously, Markel is expensive. There has to be another alternative. I did see something in Lincoln, but again I want something closer.
