im new here :)

hey guys, been lurking on the forum for a while and just signed up to say hello.
i love cars hehe, ive had quite a few of them, some good some not so good, i used to drive a few modified 4th gen camaros with modded LS1s and things like that, then a few bimmers, some E30s and e36s, then WRX and wrangler for offroading and now i have a slightly Porsche Boxster that i used to go autocrossing with at PCA events and things like that...but now im riding my R1 way more than enjoying the convertible so i wanna get something more daily driver friendly hehe
i always loved Minis and really wanna get one now.
i have my car up for sale locally, but wouldn't mind trading it for a mini from the forum if someone is looking for a modified boxster...

thanks ahead,
and i look forward to meeting some new people on here.
somehow i always end up having too many posts and spending too much time on forums...

Welcome, Mini's are def an enthusiasts car which it sounds like you are so you're going to have fun. This is a great forum to learn about Mini's, what year and model are you looking at?

05-06 Are considered the cream of the crop, theory of working all the bugs out and a beter transmission in those years etc, but obviously budget, condition, miles etc are all important factors. There are a few loyalists to the 1st Gen's (supercharged) that would never own a 2nd Gen (Turbo) and vice versa, I used to be of that thought that's why I bought an 06 JCW after my 02 MCS and I absolutely love it, but I must admit I'm a little more on the fence as I do like the JCW Clubman but I'd never give up my 1st Gen for it, it would be an addition to the family. Post some pics of your new Mini when you get it...
