CD Player

I have a single player stock system. While listening to a CD ( Audiobook) it seems that when I shut off the car it always resets back to the beginning of the track that I am on. And there doesn't seem a way to fast forward in the track only to go to the next track. Is this normal??

i don't have my mini YET but I've done plenty of research and this seems to be a normal thing for most mini owners.

i think if you restart the car within a short amount of time it will start from where you left off, but if it's for an extended amount of time then it will restart the track from the beginning.

i'm sure someone who OWNS a mini will tell you the same thing.... should be ordering my mini by the end of the month
