what can`t i do?

Hello big hearted Mini world. Glad to find you. Am delighted with new-to-me 2003 Cooper S, 6 spd, Sport package, seems rare no sunroof; how rare is this?, hyper blue & white roof, 215/40x17 Fusion rubber, otherwise all orig.
Note: had a ex-race 1995 Neon Supersport in Sublime Green, 200,000 kms, all brutal use, only problem was heater blower quit. Will Mini fare as well?
Hope to use Kawasaki 10-40 full synthetic oil. All my bikes, cars & trucks love this stuff; 0 wear on anything, this performance oil is made to Kawasaki Heavy Industries specs. Will wait for feed-back from all you Mini experts.
Planning to flog Mini thru winter on Canada`s wet & cold west coast. Advice is welcome.

Hey neighbour! ( I'm in POCO ) welcome to the NAM, I'll keep an eye out for you! Regarding your choice of oil... stock spec is 5-30 full syn, but let us know how it works for you. With proper maintenance there are guys with over 200K. Post a pic of your new Mini when you can. Here's another link for you:

Like 20Works says I'd stick to 5/30. Royal Purple, Castrol (German) Synthetic, Amsoil, Total all great oils. If your gonna auto-x or track it then Redline Oil is great for that type of driving.

You'll drop a bit of mileage

with a 10W40 over a 5W30, just more energy to move the oil.

Welcome to Mini-dom!
