Newbee to Mini

Hey Guys,

New to Mini. I am thinking about getting an S or JCW for limited track use and for some fun. I don't want to send alot. Top $15k. Any suggestion what to look for?

You won't find a JCW for near that cheap and the only S's I've found that cheap have high mileage, something wrong with them, or a not-so-popular paint. Again, good luck.

Nothing wrong with higher mileage MINI's. My 2003 R50 ran 128k trouble free miles, my '05 R53 ran over 150k with no issues and my current R56 has over 75k with no problems. If you want a MINI for that price check the marketplace here on NAM but your probably gonna have to compromise on model year and mileage for 15k.

I didn't mean that high mileage was a problem really. Mine has 82K on it. Heck these engines can go 15500 miles w/o an oil change, they're bullet proof. Just didn't know if that would be turn off to buying a mini.

thanx, guys Bimmer is famous to make reliable engines. I don,t really care about miles as much a good setup. I do not have time to change pulley, exhaust etc... I want to get in put a set of track tires in a back and go.
