8 k oil change, wipers, first vist

15k more oil more wipers sunroof sticking no cure yet 2nd visit

24k service light on sunroof problem fixed YaY !!! scopes brake fluid flushed changed front rotors and pads complained about cold start rattle and noisey belts 3rd visit, no fix for any noise told its normal LMFAO

28k YET another service light, complain again about noisey belts cold start rattle, scopes done they replace mechanical belt tensioner friction wheel and the ribbed v belt, miracle no more noisey belts... still have cold start rattle tho, OH recall on TAIL PIPE fixed as well and being inspection was due in 2 weeks they did that as well...

32k YET another service light, INTAKE SILENCER whatever that is replaced new air filter element oil changed and i got rear brakes

35 k check engine lights stalling like crazy, replaced high pressure pump

icing on the cake right here

44k total clutch failure, and a miracle they have a cure for the rattle...
new clutch, flywheel, timing chain, tensioner all the goodies of course my car was made with the bad chain......

so i picked my baby up in december 07

that in my list of WOES

today tho my car is running great

All this after i traded in an awesome 03 MCS with 120k NEVER SAW THE DEALER other than regular service, i guess the boss was watching when that car was made.........

 

"First Year" cars like 07 R56 are prone to issues with BMW. 08 MCS should be better.
