Prospective owner here!
Hey all!
I'm currently searching for a MCS Convertible for my fiance' right now and am trying to gather whatever information pops out at me.
She knows what colors (Black, Red, Dark Silver) she wants but that's about it....this is where I take over!!!
I'm a BMW guy myself...have a '02 330Xi that has been modded a bit and I plan on doing much of the same things to hers! Coilovers, wheels, exhaust and pulleys are at the top of the list. I think I may be more excited about this than she is!
Anyways, she is looking for an '07+ model year (I understand the newer model started at 07, or is that just for the hardtops?).
Anyways, new is a bit too expensive for us right now as the price range has been set at around $20-26k.
Any help and suggestions are greatly appreciated!!!

09 is the first year for the ""new" convertible (R57)
anything previous is the R52.
There's the base model, and the "S" model.
Has she test driven either to determine a starting point other than color?

We test drove an '06 MCS hardtop w/ manual tranny and it was a blast! My personal preference is that she get's an MCS as opposed to the base model. We live in the Los Angeles area and I want her to be able to have something that has some "pep" to it for traffic and freeway driving (and for me, since it's so much fun to drive!)
