howdy from the Pacific Northwest:)

Hi all,

I've gone and followed two dreams: one of being a future MINI owner, and the other of having a convertible. I love this site thanks for approving my registration.

I ordered an Interchange Yellow Mini Cooper S convertible! OMGosh, I really did, and couldn't be happier about the decision. I currently drive a Subaru Forester around in the snow and rain with the sunroof all the way open and this is going to be a very natural transition I think..teehee.

Live up here in Bellingham near the Canadian border and I'm not the only one with MINI fever - they are showing up more and more.

Anyway thanks for the awesome place you guys have here and best wishes to everyone. I just noticed Mondo has gone 'Into Production' so that sent a little tingle up my spine. Hope the lil guy can grit his grille and make it through okay!

take care all see you around

-Chris

Congrats! I dove a loaner from NW MINI for a couple days that was Interchange Yellow, and it really grew on me.

If you haven't already, you should check out PSMINI.org, it's a pretty active club and there's lots of drives and coffee meets coming up for the summer. (Usually a bit further south though...)

Coming up this Saturday is the Tulip Rallye put on by the PNW MG club- you can drive any car you want, and it's one of our favorite events for the year. Lots of fun and a great drive.

I think at last count there was over 70 MINIs registered

very cool thanks!!

Really appreciate the info and greets. I have been browsing for a few weeks but since it went scheduled for production thought I could say hello for real hehe. I'm trying to figure out how to link the pic I have from the configurator thingy on miniusa.com. Hmm--

Mondo

I think these are the wheels but not totally sure..black crown spoke but the configurator didnt show them this shiny:

thanks again- I'll look up those addresses.

p.s. turnaround from submitting order with nonrefundable deposit with MA and getting production number in email was only a few days. I understand that might be quick from reading elsewhere around here, but I'm not in a huge hurry..just incase anyone was wondering. I prefer not to take delivery until June so am hoping it will turn out about that time, no idea really how exactly it will go though. And I'm very happy with NW Mini so far and my MA - all very good folks so far, smooth and painless and very professional.
