did anyone experienced the bad sound using the iPod Cable? the sound of the iPod Nano latest generation was deceptive using the Y cable supplied with the Mini. However when I use the iPod cable to control the iPod and a normal audio jack connected from the iPod audio output to the Aux of the Mini, the sound becomes excellent.
I was wondering if the cable distributed with the Mini is kind of low quality!!

I thought the same thing about the quality of the cables being rather low. One thing to note is that the iPod cable very easily slips out of the jacks on the car, which leaves me having to push them back in every third drive or so. Pushing them back in, restores a clear sound and removes what I thought was audio distortion.
