Test-drove a 2009 Cooper Hardtop the other day. Noticed, to my dismay, the back seats partially obstructed the view of the rear-view mirror, even when the headrests were completely down.
It was unnerving, and the safet factor is really putting the damper on my enthusiasm.
Just wondering how everyone deals with it.

Even with mirrors on both sides of the car????
It's not like the back seats obstruct the view out of the back window, only the headrests do.
Sorry for such a dumb question, but did you try adjusting the mirror?

I have my seat cranked all the way up & I use all my mirrors when I drive - has never been a problem for me at all. So, did you have FUN?

I have my seat adjusted 1-up and I've adjusted the Side Mirrors to see none of the side of the car, when making lane changes, turns, etc. (City Driving) I always do "the whirly bird"...consciously checking mirrors and looking!!
I admit I had some blind spot adjustments too at first, but since I've made the mirror adjustments I've not had any issues.
